A little maintenance

The site will be down for about ten to fifteen minutes starting at 12:30 Central time today for a little database work. Sorry for the disruption!

Update: Our sys-admin wizard, Brian, surprised us and was able to complete the maintenance quicker than expected. Everything is operating normally now.

A little privacy is a good thing....

Some users have requested the ability to have podcast subscriptions "hidden" from their friends, fans and other users of www.podcastready.com. We have implemented a feature to allow this.

When you are viewing a podcast to which you are currently subscribed you will now see an option to keep that specific subscription confidential. When you choose to use this option anyone viewing your current subscriptions will see only those subscriptions which you have chosen to keep public.


By adding this feature users can still maintain the benefits of participating in the social aspects of the site but have the added ability to keep some of their subscriptions confidential.
